“The Happy Indian”
Reason: My perspective was different for this piece. It was literally inspired out of the fact that Native Americans have always been portrayed by hollywood to be savages, beasts, and barbaric. When the truth is far from this. They were/are a peaceful people who were occupied by foreign forces. So I started thinking about how Native Americans should be portrayed, and this is what came out. Hope more people learn the truth about Native Americans.

Hello Olo, amazing picture! The Indian culture is very alive here in Northern California. My husband is a physician at a local Indian Health Clinic and the people are wonderful. I love this picture. Thank you for sharing.
