President Obama, Congressional Leaders seek to ban all anti-war political parties

April 1st, 2010 · 9 Comments
In a move few political pundits could have predicted, President Obama announced today a new initiative to outlaw all antiwar political parties in the United States. White House spokesperson April Odin announced that the White House is working with Senators McCain and Lieberman and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on the historic enabling legislation, calling it “change you can believe in.” Odin told reporters, “we are at war, and criticizing the war effort is treason. Also, President Obama got elected with a lot of votes from people who were opposed to President Bush’s wars, so naturally he doesn’t want the same sort of thing to happen to him. If we can keep antiwar political parties off the ballot completely, we can ensure there will be no chance of a peace ticket sweeping the White House in 2012.”

Stay tuned for further developments on this breaking story…
