The Rising Sun (Memorial Day Dedication)

The Rising Sun of Hope to all of those who have served. To all of those who have lost someone, or something.

The ones still risking.
The ones still bearing heavy burdens.
The ones seeking Glory.
The ones who seek to Protect.
The ones who seek and destroy, Our enemies.
The ones who will endlessly be never-ending.
The ones who go unspoken.
The ones who are recognized.
The ones who don’t know.
The ones who are one.
We are One.

This is a dedication to our Veterans, and Active service military.

The Rising Sun is a Hope that I hope gets granted to all of those who deserve such remarkable admiration on this day.

Please spread this article, and image to all of those you know who have served, and are still serving.

The Rising Sun still gives HOPE.

To all the sailors, marines, soldiers, coast guardsmen and air men who have served and are serving; Thank you for what you have done for me and my family. Happy Memorial day weekend to all. Have fun and be safe.

    • Plymayer – Nice to see a familiar face here. It’s a day that everyone will notice and cherish our braves, but what we need to learn is to think of them often, possibly daily. They need us, as we need them.

  2. okay-this is my new favourite – beautiful tribute in pic and words

    • I couldn’t think of any other way to do it, Homefront. Personally, I have so many family members who have served, and are still serving. Tribute is an honor to those who have chosen to be the ones.

Fantastic – as the mom of a son who was in Baghdad, this is the most touching and beautiful testament to them. Beautiful.

    • Several of my brothers have served Iraq and Afghanistan. We should not only remember and appreciate them on this day. We should acknowledge them more frequently. Their sacrifices have made what’s possible today.

The most fitting words and image for today – and one for which I take no credit. Thank you to Boblobslaw. And thank you to all who deserve our unending appreciation and remembrance today.

Hi – reblogged on waitingforthekarmatruck. com – with the appropriate credit of course! 🙂

    • Ofcourse ! Thanks for giving credit. In tribute to our military I made it not necessary to give credit back to this article, but you did so anyways, and I thank you for that.

    beautifully said…HOPE is awesome!

    • Roxie, Thanks ! Hope is something that needs to be mass produced and shoveled out to the ones who serve. I think a lot of them feel disenfranchised because of how the media portrays them while they’re abroad. I feel as though these things are changing a little now. Thanks for stopping by!
